Kroger and Delta Trak are excited to announce a new partnership aimed at improving product freshness through proper monitoring of cold chain shipments. As part of Kroger’s Fresh for Everyone and Zero Hunger, Zero Waste programs we are working together to ensure optimal product freshness throughout the shipping process.
This website provides an overview of approved logistics tracking devices for the program and some key information on using the devices and UBQ Network cloud software platform.
We look forward to partnering with you to create continuous improvement in your supply chain practices.
DeltaTrak is retiring FlashTrak and moving all customers to UBQ Network, our next-generation platform for shipment temperature and location monitoring. This is part of a company-wide upgrade that lets us keep delivering the reliable monitoring and support you depend on.
What stays the same
Your current devices and shipment data remain fully supported throughout the transition. You will see no interruption to your service.
What happens next
In the coming days, you'll receive an email with instructions to activate your UBQ Network account. Our team will guide you through account setup, onboarding, training, and your first live shipments.
The FlashTrak portal will be retired once all migrations are complete. We'll share the retirement date well in advance.
Questions? please contact your DeltaTrak representative or Customer Support at [1-800-962-6776 option 4 (or 925-400-9384) or [email protected]]. We value our partnership with Kroger and its suppliers.
With the UBQ Shipper Dashboard, you can review consolidated temperature performance, dwell time, and shipment delays by lane, shipper, supplier, receiver, carrier, and key waypoints such as ports, customs, and distribution centers.
Monitor time and temperature above or below thresholds, identify recurring exceptions, and assess performance across suppliers, receivers, and carriers.
Focus on the KPIs that drive decisions. Suppliers can optimize operations to reduce rejections and missed delivery windows, while receivers can reduce shrink, lower markdowns, and improve gross margin.
Q: What is UBQ Network, and why are we moving from FlashTrak?
A: UBQ Network is our next-generation platform for accessing and using your shipment temperature and location data — the upgrade from FlashTrak. It is designed to help your team:
Q: Is this transition approved by Kroger?
A: Yes, FlashTrak will be decommissioned after accounts are validated and teams are trained. Until the cutoff, we will monitor for continued FlashTrak use and reach out to help anyone who has not yet moved.
Q: How do I get access to UBQ Network?
A: Your account has already been created in UBQ Network — it was synced automatically from FlashTrak and is waiting in a pending (latent) state. You will receive an email invitation; accept it, create a password, and you will be able to log in. You do not need to register from scratch.
Q: Do I need to recreate my account or re-enter my information?
A: No. All Kroger shipper accounts have already been synced from FlashTrak to UBQ Network. Your account is set up — you only need to accept the invitation and set a password.
Q: What if I don't receive my invitation, or have trouble logging in?
A: Reach out to your account owner or our support team and we will re-send the invitation and help you get in. Questions? please contact your DeltaTrak representative or Customer Support at [1-800-962-6776 option 4 (or 925-400-9384) or [email protected]].
Q: Who is my main point of contact during the transition?
A: Your account owner will be your primary contact throughout the transition and can bring in training or technical support as needed.
Q: Will training be provided?
A: Yes. Before go-live we schedule a short discovery and training session tailored to how your team actually works.
A: On-demand training videos (both general and Kroger-specific) and webinars are also planned.
Q: Who on my team should attend training?
A: Anyone who relies on shipment data — including people who:
Q: Can we get extra help after training if someone needs it?
A: Yes. We follow up after your first live shipments and can schedule additional sessions for anyone who needs more support.
Q: What happens to my historical shipment and inventory data?
A: Recent data has already been moved into UBQ Network, and older data is safely archived and available on request. Shipment data from the last week of June onward has been synced to UBQ Network; data before that is retained in a secure archive.
Q: How far back is my data available directly in UBQ Network?
A: Shipment data from the cutoff date, June 30th 2026, onward is available directly in UBQ Network. Older records are held in the archive and provided on request rather than displayed in the interface.
Q: How do I access data from before the cutoff date?
A: Just request it. Our team will extract the records and provide them to you, typically as a CSV or PDF file, through a secure temporary location such as Box or a secure file transfer.
Q: Is my archived data secure?
A: Yes. Your historical data is stored securely and remains available to you on request. A backup of the FlashTrak database is preserved within the UBQ environment so records can be retrieved when needed.
Q: Why might a device's model or item number look different in UBQ Network?
A: Some older devices carried limited model information in FlashTrak. UBQ Network adds a dedicated item-number field alongside the model number so devices can be tracked more accurately, and we may ask suppliers to confirm production records using a standard template.
Q: What are the steps in the transition process?
A: The transition follows a supported, step-by-step sequence:
Q: What do you need from me and my team?
A: A few simple things: reply with your availability to schedule the session, include the right people, attend the training, confirm your team can access UBQ Network and see your shipment data, and let us know about any issues during your first live shipments.
The FlashLink NOW 4G/5G Real-Time In-Transit Logger utilizes the latest technology to protect domestic and export shipments of temperature sensitive products. DeltaTrak’s real-time devices provide the data shippers and receivers need to take immediate action if a temperature excursion occurs. With a single device, users can capture multiple types of sensor data, including location, temperature, and light. FlashLink NOW incorporates several enhanced features which offer new options for accessing data and contribute to greater ease of use. The addition of an LCD screen enables users to view trip data stored in the unit’s memory. A wider temperature measurement range of -30°C to 70°C (-22°F to 158°F) allows monitoring of commodities with diverse requirements.
